Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 June 2026
This policy explains how Oarline ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit this website, book a call with us, or otherwise interact with us. We are committed to handling your data lawfully, fairly and transparently.
Who we are
Oarline is the data controller responsible for your personal data.
- Company: HT Tech Marketing LLC, a Texas limited liability company, trading as Oarline.
- Based in: Texas, United States of America.
- Data protection contact: Andre Santos, Co-Founder, privacy@oarline.co.uk
What data we collect
- Identity and contact data: if you book a call with us through our scheduling link, your name and email address (and any other details you choose to provide when booking).
- Booking data: the time you booked and any answers you give to scheduling questions.
- Technical and usage data: when you visit this site we and our providers may collect your IP address, device and browser type, and how you interact with the pages, through cookies and similar technologies (see "Cookies" below).
How and why we use it
We use your personal data on the following lawful bases under the UK GDPR:
- To arrange and hold the call you booked: sending you the joining details and any reminders. Lawful basis: performance of a contract / taking steps at your request.
- To follow up after we speak: for example to offer a relevant next step or related information. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, or consent where required for marketing.
- To measure and improve our advertising and this website: understanding which campaigns lead to enquiries. Lawful basis: consent (for non-essential cookies) and legitimate interests.
- To comply with our legal obligations: including responding to data subject requests.
We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
We share data with trusted third parties who process it on our behalf, under appropriate contracts:
- Calendly: our booking and scheduling provider, which processes your details if you book a call with us.
- Google (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager): to understand how visitors use this website and measure how our campaigns perform, where you have consented to analytics cookies.
- Google Workspace: our email tool, used to reply to you and send any follow-up.
International transfers
Oarline is operated by HT Tech Marketing LLC, which is based in the United States, and some of our providers are also based outside the UK. This means your personal data is transferred internationally. Where it is, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement (or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses), or another lawful transfer mechanism.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and contact data for as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterwards to follow up, and then delete or anonymise it. As a guide we retain enquiry and contact data for 24 months unless you ask us to remove it sooner or you remain in active contact with us.
How we protect your data
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your data secure. These include multi-factor authentication on the systems that hold personal data, unique individual logins with access limited to people who need it, a cloud-only rule that prevents personal data being downloaded to local devices, device encryption and auto-lock, and prompt removal of access when someone leaves. We work only with established providers that offer appropriate security and data-protection terms.
Cookies
This website uses essential cookies needed for it to function and, where you consent, non-essential analytics cookies. In particular we use Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager), which sets cookies and shares usage data with Google to help us measure how the site performs and how our campaigns are working. It only runs where you have given consent. If you click through to book a call, our scheduling provider Calendly may also set its own cookies on its booking page. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using theCookie settings link in the footer, and control cookies through your browser settings.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Ask us to erase your data, or restrict or object to our processing.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@oarline.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), though we'd ask you to contact us first so we can try to put things right.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it was last revised.
